Comfort Camping Co. makes custom-cut mattresses and bedding in Australia for caravans, campervans, rooftop tents, swags and van conversions. The business and its online store already existed — the issue was that the site didn't make the custom-cut offer obvious, and shoppers searching for a mattress for their specific van or caravan layout weren't landing on it.
What I identified
Product pages were organised the way the workshop thinks (foam types) rather than the way customers search (caravan mattress, rooftop tent mattress, bunk mattress, cut to size). The custom quote path was buried, and the reasons to trust the brand — Australian made, cut to your exact shape, eco-friendly foam, nationwide delivery — weren't front and centre.
The strategy
Refresh rather than rebuild. Keep what was working, then restructure the store around how people actually shop: by what they sleep in, with a free custom quote never more than one click away.
Implementation
Collections were reorganised to match the way people search for a mattress for their setup, hero and category copy was rewritten around "custom cut to your exact shape", and the free quote request was added as a second call to action alongside every shop link so a non-standard size never becomes a dead end.
